The BIP Ventures Evergreen BDC is an equity BDC (Business Development Company). It is designed with the goal of enabling a greater number of accredited investors to participate in the Innovation Economy.
The BDC is designed to enable BIP Ventures to extend follow-on investments over longer growth timelines, a strategy historically associated with strong portfolio development. With quarterly investment windows and annual liquidity windows, the Evergreen BDC also aims to provide flexible funding opportunities.

The Evergreen BDC seeks to provide more ways to invest in the Innovation Economy. It is designed to remove the frictions that drag on investment performance of private funds.
To be accredited, an individual must meet one of the following criteria.
$1,000,000 in net worth, not including equity in the primary residence
$200,000 in earnings by one member of the household for the past two consecutive years, with reason to expect that to continue in current year
$300,000 in earnings by spouses in the household for the past two consecutive years, with reason to expect that to continue in current year
